Reid Hill was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. He attended Thom Collegiate High School and graduated from the University of Regina with a History Degree and a Minor Degree in Political Science.
Reid spent 3 years in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve as a Royal Regina Rifle. He enjoyed this experience, and helped re-enforce his belief in service over self.
Currently, Reid works at Regina Nissan as a Parts Advisor. He enjoys helping business clients and customers.
Beyond work, Reid is a very active volunteer around his neighbourhood and the wider community. He is always willing to help neighbours and friends with shoveling snow or helping to build a deck.
Reid is an Executive Member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He is constantly advocating on behalf of veterans, as he wants to see more done in Regina and the country as a whole.
Reid is also a volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society and canvasses the community for donations. With a family history of cancer, one of Reid’s goals is to ensure that funds are available so that a cure can be found, hopefully, in his life time.
Reid helps local community schools with fundraisers to ensure they are able to purchase much needed supplies and equipment.
Reid donates blood to the Canadian Blood Services as he feels this is a small sacrifice that helps save lives.
When it comes down to it, Reid is committed to doing what he can to make Ward 9 and the City of Regina an even better place to live.
